Qualifications Policy

Please establish your qualification level for this and future purchases by Registering for a PPI account.

In accordance with the Standards for Educational Testing and PP's competency based qualification guidelines, many tests and other materials sold by PPI are available only to those professionals who are trained to administer, score and interpret psychological tests. If you have not already established a Qualification Level with PPI, please Register for a PPI account.

PPI is committed to accurate and ethical assessment of individuals, and uses the qualification system to help ensure that the right tools are in the right hands. If you have questions about our qualification descriptions, please call Customer Service at 1- 800-345-8378 for assistance.

The "User" (or Authorized Practitioner after PPI qualification) is the individual who assumes responsibility for all aspects of appropriate test use, including administration, scoring, interpretation, and application of results. Some tests may be administered or scored by individuals with less training, as long as they are under the supervision of a qualified User (or PPI Authorized Practitioner after qualification).

Each test manual will provide additional detail on administration, scoring and/or interpretation requirements and options for the particular test.

We accept orders from individuals who have Registered for a PPI account and meet the minimum qualification level required for the product(s) selected. Qualification level is determined by the individuals educational background and assigned during the registration process. All tests are classified by a User Qualification code. See the specific test descriptions in the catalog or on the Web for these qualification levels.
