The reusable T-JTA Question Booklet contains instructions for taking the T-JTA followed by the 180 T-JTA items. Each of the three T-JTA Question Booklet Editions has a different format and application, depending upon levels of reading comprehension and intended use.
Regular Edition (Reusable)
Applicable for Self and Criss-Cross testings because each testee fills in the appropriate name (self or other) in the dotted blank space as the question is read. The Regular Edition is intended for adults, college students, and high school students. A reading level of eighth grade is assumed for the items. Examples of the Regular Edition Question format are:
• Is . . . by nature a forgiving person? • Does . . . have a wide range of interests? • When . . . offers a suggestion, is it apt to be more helpful than critical?
Designed for Self testing only, with direct question format. May be used with individuals, groups, or classes when Criss-Cross testing is not required. The Non-Criss-Cross Regular Edition is intended for adults, college students, and high school students. An eighth grade reading level is assumed. Examples of the Non-Criss-Cross Edition Question format are:
• Are you by nature a forgiving person?
• Do you have a wide range of interests?
• When you offer a suggestion, are you apt to be more helpful than critical?
Applicable for testing with adolescents. Can also be used for adults with reading deficiencies. Direct question format with a simplified vocabulary. Can be used with Student Sten Profiles and Norms. A reading level of fifth grade is assumed. Examples of the Secondary Edition Question format are:
• Are you by nature a forgiving person?
• Do you have a number of hobbies or special interests?
• If you don’t agree with someone can you tell him or her so without making that person angry?
